Does anyone remember when Costco used to sell those 6 foot tall vinyl soccer balls? They were more like a giant beach ball than an actual rubber ball but I haven't seen one in many years, I believe you can still order them through Amazon though.

I do like them. I especially like the larger kinds, like the 36 or 48 inch ones.

I can’t find it now because it keeps getting taken down, which is why I never post these, but there’s a video of her at her heaviest, 613 pounds, jumping into a pool. Beach balls are my favorite. I have a decent collection of different sizes ranging from 24” to 6 feet. Love to bounce on them, then pull the plug and ride them down. So much fun.

I’m pretty picky about the colors though in that I like the classic color pattern. I’ve also noticed it’s hard to come 36”+ plus balls in the stores by me - I have to buy off eBay if I want anything bigger than 24”.

700 pound Gym Girl sat on a 42 inch intex polka dot ball. Still had some weight on her feet, but bounced a little. Chickened out and got off it. Got back on it, kicked her feet out in front of her so she had most of her weight on it. Intended to bounce, but it sprung a fast leak and she only got a single bounce in and it deflated.

I'm lucky to still own a little stack of 48-inchers (no, not the famous brand), while 48ers seem to be hardly available in shops any more. Currently, one of these big balls sits inflated in our bedroom, but the times when my wife was interested in joint beach ball gymnastics (the special sort of) are long gone. There are also only rare occasions now for having my personal time with the big one since some of our kids and their friends are regularly around the house. Our cover story for having a beach ball in our room is that we occasionally use it for stretching our backs (which indeed helps with lumbago)...
