By definition I am a non popper, however I pop balloons when they are not in my favor or I do not like them anymore. I have found out I still have fear while popping a balloon, I can't tell whether it is excitement or fear, I just start to breathe harder, I feel a rush of blood, my hands sweat, sometimes my fingers start to tremble...and so on. I have to say I do not use "easy" ways like pin popping or stomping, I squeeze them, pinch them, try hard bouncing them and bite the balloons, not exaclty what a phobic would do.

Re: Do you still have fear of popping?
When I am alone I can easily chicken out from B2P and stab the balloons any improper thing, pencil, screwdriver or scissors or I stomp on them but I can always worry about the neighbors (we live in a hause though) but I really enjoy when my wife is watching my B2P session and encourage me to "discard" the old balloons of the party decorations...Comment

Re: Do you still have fear of popping?
I definitely consider myself to be a popper, but the fear is still there in small amounts. I can pop things by hand or with pins just fine, or hump pop them easily. It's the overinflation pops that still scare me, but I think my desire to pop them outweighs the fear aspect. :PComment

Re: Do you still have fear of popping?
I don't have fear of popping but popping alone is not so great. I need my wife's companionship. Yesterday I was alone and tried to cleanup the drawer of my desk; I found a bag of old 12-er balloons and I popped all of them by different ways but it was not a real fun...Comment

Re: Do you still have fear of popping?
This day was the birthday of my wife. I did some balloon decoration with balloons printed with the appropriate numbers.Everithing was OK but finally my wife asked me if I had those old blue balloons with printed stars. I said yes, i had two pieces. Then she requested to check how large those balloons could be inflated :-))) So now we don't have blue balloons... The decoration will last for a couple of days :-)))Comment

Re: Do you still have fear of popping?
Popping scares me and I'd prefer not to do it. Accidents do happen of course and it doesn't bother me. Been able to manage a BTP on occasion.Comment
