The balloons are actually just stacked and I didn't use any thread or anything like that. I carefully did this row by row and of course started with purple in the middle. It's a very fragile construct and even the slightest breeze causes everything to collapse

I deflated the balloons again in the evening because I actually just wanted to pre-stretch them well for the next use. Today they were about 19" (48cm) in diameter and I want to make these U16s even bigger. Wish me luck

Thank you I’m a bit chicken today… not sure if this will go as planned. But I’ll try to increase their size at least a little bit. 20” would be nice
