While none of these 16 balloons would be a record shredder in my books. The 17" Canyon Rose Tuftex kept going and going, and the boom shattered the balloon into hundreds of tiny pieces.

13 were Q16"s, 1 TT17", and 2 Sempertex 18"

I bet susie's q16 b2p are very, very loud. I wonder if she ever scared anyone. Are qualatex 16s smaller than they used to be. I think I read that somewhere. I havnt bought them in a long while. I prefer the old qualatex 14.
I have to settle with tufftex 14s now. Not quite as loud though. Kind of a bummer.

Although, I love after my successfully bursted balloon a little bigger pieces (many middle sized pieces flying all over the room).

And because I am still working on to be more and more brave to pop balloons mainly blow them till pop.

That's why I am so much satisfied, when my balloon expode into many small tiny strings as a proof that the balloon was fresh, wery well overinflated and so tight before it burst and that it was loud. Very scare for me, but very exciting too.


Some of your pictures are realy exciting, when I imagine how it was made.

I wonder if Main Event still has those very same balloons like the red one shown? We have a Main Event here where I live, but I've not been there yet?....

They don't, they use Party City for their balloons now. I have a few of those jewel ones and did some research a while back trying to find more.

Hi,

As I mostly - practically always - blow up my balloons until they pop it is not that unusual to end up with quite some little shreds (this can btw be a bit hard to clean up completely).

Now and then a balloon will however explode into unusually many tiny shreds, and I will try to get a pic next time this happens. For now I just attach a pic of what is more common.

It was a qualatex 16" balloon btw
