Live demonstrations at stores. Wonder what the turnout was like.
If you're familiar with vintage hoppers, some of these ads give you an idea of how thin this vinyl was. You can tell how well broken in and flexible they got even near full size. Not sure about Space Hoppers but Hoppity Hops tended to stay fairly stiff even when broken in.
