I'm a photographer, though I'm not sure what I'd want the model to do. I'm sure I could make a much better video than a lot that are out there. What would one do, that is the question?
You could start it in reverse. You could show the shattered remains of a balloon, and then work your way backwards and work your way up to the bang. So you'd switch between after it popped and before, missing out the actual pop until the end. But you've got to have the model do lots of different things with the same balloon. Sort of, a none pop video, with a pop if you see what I mean. And make it a tease. Have her start off watching the TV and idly playing with the balloon. Then have her sit on the balloon watching TV. Then have her suddenly get up and walk away leaving the balloon floating about. then have her walk back in, grab the balloon and sit on it again. Then she can start to rock on it, back and forth, sort of like she's oblivious to the camera.
Also, make sure the camera operator is a woman. You can tell when it's a bloke handling the camera because suddenly you get all this camera handling noise the moment something starts to happen in frame. Of course if it was me making the film then the camera opp would be male. But I'd keep very quiet and I'd have the camera static so that it was conceivable that the model was filming herself.
