Not that I think I have any chance of winning this little balloon blowing competition, but as I think it is sooo cool competing about whos balloon gets biggest I post a pic anyway.

I placed a cd in front of the balloon for better illustrating the size.

PS. I thought I would take another pic after 20 more blows, but the balloon popped just as I put on the clip, so the balloon in the pic isn't (wasn't) at its biggest. I'll try to do better another time (but it made a cool bang *giggles*)

You put another 20 blows into THAT!!!! you must blow teenie tiny blows then SusieDK as that monster looks like it would explode at one more breath!

I think it was from loonerworld a few years back, I agree with the prints though, I prefer plain crystal ones, but one needs to have some variation every now and then

Hi,

I just blew normal blows into it. Of course they were ‘my size blows’, but full breaths nevertheless. This Spring I took part in a health test, and among other things I had my lung capacity measured. It showed to be in the better half of what is normal for my age and gender.

About the actual balloon taking 20 more blows being ‘incredible’ I think it simply has to do with most people underestimating how much balloons can really take. Also bear in mind that I meant to make it pop. I just recomsidered and wanted to take one more photo before blowing more - and then it popped while I put on the clip.

Even though having blown to pop almost countless balloons they never stop to amaze me.

I have the same idea, sometimes the people just underestimate the potential of a balloon, I had some good experiences on balloons that grown to 20 or more inches on the first inflation, even when the size recommended was 17”, I noticed this is more common on uniques balloons (excluding the 15” oval shaped’, the tuftex brand in general, and the qualatex 18” that usually gets over 21” before pops.

wow that looks mahoooosive ! I once got a tuftex 17" balloon to 24" , but it eventually met its fate , has anyone tried bigger ,im trying again at the moment with another tt17"

Hi have a pic of a 17inch tuftex.....measure 45inches tall. I have had them as large as 49inches tall before. I cannot figure out how to attach from my computer
