Hi Guys, my opinion might not be welcome in this thread. (which I totally understand)

I started filming more than a year ago so I will share my experiences of the transition from customer to producer.
In my opinion most of the arguments above are true to some extent. I also was kinda feeling that a lot of new content was kinda bland so I asked Saskia if she would like to model for me. As we started I tried to get better at all the stuff one should know when actually trying to put together something good. It is a process and it is far from over. It comes with a lot of time and money that has to be invested in a new hobby and that is great.

After a while of filming I noticed that funky concepts and things I might like a lot are not very "welcome". At least that's what the number of sales says. So I tried to explore in directions that were apparently more liked by the community. This is the point where monotony starts to show it's ugly face. If it does not matter how much effort and artsy stuff you put in a video, because sit pop video 42 is outperforming everything you tried to come up with, why bother? There is a thought that keeps coming back to me: " is it better to have a store full of videos that maybe one or two people bought and one sit pop video in the middle that crushes them all?" From a business side this would be really "questionable" but it would be fun to just do wild crazy stuff with balloons. The goal would be to find the correct balance of stuff that works and new stuff and I am working on that.

I also want to add something to the "only out for customs" topic. Also there is some truth to it but things are not that easy. You see there are a lot of very nice people in our community that really want to help, but there are also some who just try to get content cheaper or for free and go to absurd length to achieve that. That makes differentiating sometimes pretty hard. So producers like me are more likely to offer a custom. Especially if the suggestion is very detailed, causes a lot of effort and just feels like "I want exactly this video but I will buy it later for the retail price". This does not mean that I will never do that. I probably will at some point if I like the concept. To be honest we don't get many recommendations. I do remember one of you above sent us one tho. 😉

I hope this brings some transparancy. You are always welcome to ask me about the weird mix of hobby and work that is producing content.

Your opinion is very welcome here. And thank you for all your contributions and hard work. You guys put out excellent stuff. I also agree with your comment 100 percent. In order to not get burned out filming content, just shoot what you want to shoot. Things that you like and things that you guys find to be more fun. Even if it doesn't make the most money off the rip, longevity and sustained income is preferable. At least in my opinion. That's what we've always done anyway.

I agree to an extent. I think it's mostly a problem of volume over good content not being out there at all any more. A lot more general porn studios and camgirls have jumped on the looner train for a quick buck and that leads to a lot of mediocre, low effort dreck. You really just have to know where to go/look for the quality content now.

The problems with a lot of looner content being produced now boil down to one thing, the desire to capitalize without actually making any effort at being good. Sure, it's easy to lean up a camera on a tripod in front of a room full of Amazon balloons and have a girl quickly and disinterestedly tear through them as fast as possible, maybe even throw a few GLs in there and you've got yourself Loonerlanding and CustomFetish. A giant firehose of quickly produced content that makes money, sure, but definitely isn't memorable. Not to mention the shady practices of uploading clips from defunct previous sites (Loonergirls.com) to your new site and calling it "updates", but that's another story.

Don't even get me started on most camgirls. Fake played-out noises and awkward sex abound. Not to mention, treating your fans like shit when they ask simple questions, looking at you AussieLooner.

With all of that said, there are some geniunely awesome content producers out there in the looner field these days, Balloondorado, HerLoons (hi Phil! Hope all is well!), House of Loons, etc. The girls are really fun and interested (or at least great at pretending) and are fearless in pushing balloons to their limits.

Then there's stuff on its own level like StudioFuusen which has graduated to the point of erotic cosplay/looner art in my opinion. Their productions are of such high quality and interaction with the community is great.

Even the B-tier stuff like Asian Looner Girls and Latin Desire is pretty good right now.

It's out there if you know where to look.

Wonderloons tends to have good content, it's difficult I guess to constantly hit the nail on the head. Music blasting away in the background is a personal dislike of mine or preening where the girls pout and strut all over the shop attempting to look sexy - oh do fuck off. Something else I dislike is the video descriptions for the videos on C4S; LATINDESIRES is a main offender, have you read the shit they post in the video write up? it's nearly Biblical in length, why use 10 words when 300 will do FFS.
