Would love to see how big everyone can blow a standard party balloon with just one breath. This is my attempt:

Oh, man lyckr! I remember doing that experiment in 5th grade with the plastic lung capacity tube that had the number markings! I totally cheated & blew it up with a good three breaths, lol! But i still came in at 6th place!

Re: Lung capacity contest
i think this is a fun challenge but to be fair we should all blow the same size and brand!.....is that a Q11? or similar?
the thickness of the rubber and its freshness affects the resistance.Comment

Re: Lung capacity contest
Thats impressive wildheart!...looks like you might be the winner so far!
YEAH!..GO FOR IT an do another one when you are relaxed....show us how HARD you can BLOW!!!!!
perhaps we should stick to Q11s, they are easy to get yur hands on.....need to be fresh out of the bag tho, if they have been blown up before they are easier to inflate.Comment

That is only one breath? Amazing capacity! You must have balloons for lungs, lol! I'll bet you can hold your breath for a good, long time!

Re: Lung capacity contest
I did stretch it a bit before, don't know if that's cheating. It was one breath though. Wasn't easy to stop myself, was very tempted to blow a few more. It's been a while since I last played. How big will it go? Only one way to find out...

Re: Lung capacity contest
I know I'm going to say something stupid, but a balloon is measured to find out what measure "it is, the 16" that I have is that size because when I bought it they told me but I have a "Standar" here that I do not know size is
the two on the left are the same size, I do not know what size. the middle one is a 14" I think 16" unique. 17" tuffComment
