I saw once a bunch very tight inflated Ballon in a supermarket. I know that one of the girls that worked there was responsible for decoration, which made me curious why she made them that big and if she likes the pop as well.
I think that people inflating balloons to the max aren't afraid of a pop at all.

My personal tightest one was an advertising balloon just a small 11" but man, what a neck. And the bang was tremendous as I love it.

Thanks! It was inflated the first time, no neck inflation or anything.
Yeah, was quite a fight to b2p it. But the Bang was insane.

The person which purchased those must have been one of us :⁠-⁠D

And the best thing is: they are always like that. Each of them can be blown to the ring of the mouthpiece easily. Happy that they work that well, even when they are a few years old and a bit hardened.
I use them very sparingly.

I remember long time back, when I visited my business partner's house for some work. His daughter returned form school and quickly rushed towards her mother. She opened her bag and took out an animal print balloon (12inch). She handed it over to her mother and said please blow it for me. She bought a pump from other room and started pumping it. Luckily the pump broke in between and the balloon was under inflated. So she left the pump and started blowing from her mouth. Gradually the balloon got big and a small neck appeared. The fun part is she didn't stop to check as she was busy filling it to max. Sadly the balloon didn't survive while tying it up. It was fun to watch while working.

I had a 36" Tuftex Balloon that was Reinflated so many times it Grew to 52"! It was very thin But Big! My Wife at the time said, "Oh Wow that's Really BIG! It could burst at any Second!" She took a Tiny little sewing needle and put a Tiny Hole in My Balloon. It took 4 days to Deflate!

A few years ago now I remember when driving to a meeting, passing a house who were obviously having a celebration of some kind. Birthday, 40th anniversary, I don't know. Tied to the concrete gate post were 5, yes 5, red balloons, probably 11"/12" with necks so inflated that it must have been a struggle to tie off the necks, plus they were tied into a cluster. As there was a slight breeze, the cluster were hitting the concrete post at quite a force. My thoughts, they aren't going to last long.
Surprise, surprise, on returning home a couple hours later, they were as good as when I saw them earlier, not one had burst and still as big as when they were put there.
Sadly a couple days later they were much smaller and oxidized, but still intact.
Good strong balloons they must have been.
