I think my 'fetish' started when I was about six. But of course, back then I had no idea what a fetish was. I remember inviting my friend round our house all the time when I was like 7/8 to blow up and play with my inflatables. I knew I was a non-popper the day he burst a tiny, cheap inflatable toy and I got so upset and made him leave the house 😂

Oh yes I think the interest/fascination often starts quite early but its only a fetish in the strict sense from sexual maturity.

no i liked balloons as a kid although i was scared of them if they burst. 16 was when i realised they turned me on and had a fetish

Probably about the same here- five or six I think for inflatables, my mid teens for discovering balloons.

Yeah I had balloons around during my childhood too, but they never held the same appeal to me as inflatables did. But then in my mid teens I got into them, they're a totally different kettle of fish- for me they had this vulnerability, they were fragile but I loved all the noises n sounds they made.... but yes, I feared them bursting which became the real fascination with them.

Pushing a balloon to its limits either through inflation, or riding one- making as much noise as one could get out of one, without deliberately popping it. Though they often did of course.
I don't mind popping balloons through riding them, but I'm still a total wuss when it comes to blow to popping, no problems with watching others b2p, but just can't bring myself round to doing a b2p myself ��
