Having just been on holiday I saw inflatables get blown up but they weren’t see thru. They didn’t get left behind unless it was after I had returned home which was a shame as I love getting them. I did manage to get a lilo or airmat as they are sometimes called by the pool it was under inflated and was well used one of those 18 cup holder ones and clear on the top side the pillow was deflated. The next day it was left lying around but had been blown up and pillow was heatstretched and condensated and had a little water inside from being used whilst deflated and the cap left open. I used it many times and brought it home the main part has a slow leak which I haven’t found but the pillow holds air fine and I love blowing it up knowing the pillow was blown up by someone else before.

Yes, in Australia, most people simply mouth inflate their floaties, beach balls and pool toys, unless it is a very large item. Same for balloons too.

It is common to see a beach ball, swim ring or lounge being mouth inflated if you're at the beach or poolside. Generally, don't overinflate.

It's harder to see the condensation inside the inflatable especially if it is not a clear or see through vinyl. More often, you get to glance at the lipstick runoff on the mouthpiece and valve area. Actually I saw a 3ft long inflatable airplane in a travel agent a few years ago, which had a big smear of red lipstick all around the mouthpiece.

I'm a massive fan of watching dudes blow up inflatables/beachballs by mouth, along with their condensation. I don't think there are many vids/footage of that anymore, sadly.

Nah, I don't like to see people blowing up Inflatables by mouth. This leads to moisture inside it and subsequently to accumulation of bacteria and maybe mold.

Doesn't do much for me, usually, unless they are going to blow pop it. I've seen videos of women blow-popping 48 inch beach balls. They are apparently easier to blow pop than 24 inchers.

But I do love to see really large people blow up beach balls and swim rings. The things just look so insubstantial in their hands and it looks like they could easily blow pop them, but it doesn't work like that. Their lungs aren't necessarily any stronger. It just looks like they could accidentally blow pop an inflatable.

I also like to see people try to blow a swim ring tight enough to get rid of the outer seam wrinkles. Unintentional overinflation.

Not so much here, but when I've travelled to Asia, I have often seen pool toys, swim rings and beach balls for sale at shops, already inflated.

Most often, the swim rings are all blown up till they are bulging, even warping, and wrinkle free. I have always wondered if they pop some during such heavy inflation, as you can see from the photos.


Also wondered if they are mouth blown or pump inflated, and whether they last long before springing a leak.

I've never really thought about this. Females yes. Definitely would love to see them blow inflatables. Men tbd.
