    Pool pillows

Has anyone ever played with these? How squishy and soft are they? They're made for winter weather, so I assume they're fairly heavy duty and can take quite a beating.

guiltypressure.com/inflatable-pillow/. I originally discovered pool pillows after seeing some videos of this inflateable, but apparently this is custom made and not a pool pillow? Anyone have any idea how it was made?

It looks like their price can range from $10 - $35, so not insanely expensive.

Like inflatable mattresses, these do nothing for me, but power to those who do.

I had one of the smaller ones a while ago. They are quite nice and soft and thinner than the stuff they make normal pool toys from.

Some feel incredibly soft and stretchy, while others not so much. They vary, people tend to over inflate them, lay heavy covers on them, and cause them to leak. They get pissed, complain, then the makers use stiffer vinyl, in some cases.
I bought one of these ten years ago, and loved it. But I have no idea if they still use the same vinyl.

Do you remember what the brand was? I love soft inflatables.

I love when I can get my hands on one of these! So much fun to hump for me I love to blow them up really full and hump them hard. Just add some more air as it stretches and continue until the end!

Yeah, I wonder why. Only one way to find out!

What's the material like? Are they soft? Are they slippery?

I have one of the 8 x 4ft ones that Tookus mentions.

It’s like vinyl sheeting compared to the PVC that pool toys are made from, if you know what I mean. Basically two rectangular sheets welded together. The one I have has a very fine diagonal criss cross pattern pressed into it. Looking at the skirt around the edge, the rough side of this pattern is on the inside of the pillow. The outside is much smoother, but it still has a different texture to PVC. More of a matte, drier feeling than PVC.

The material is thin and soft. It is slightly stretchy and has some give, but I think this is more to do with it being a thin material. Given that it’s larger than a single-sized bed when unfolded, I can fold it down to the size of an A4 sheet of paper about one inch thick.

I actually got mine thru a friend who worked for a pvc/ vinyl supplier. As well as several smaller units. They are great on dry land and even better wet and floating. Some lessor vinyl mfg companies will run custom jobs for you at reasonable rate.

As others have said, I can attest they are VERY slippery!

                    Enjoy.

I just got a couple from a place on E-Bay, in the Netherlands. They are 110x110x60 cm inflated. Cost me UK£16 which I didn't think was bad.

That's a nice pillow, and for a reasonable price. How slippery/squishy is it? Would also like to know how long it lasts after being played with.

                              Hello!

I did never play with such a pillow, but with large and tight inflated bags.
