Default Recommendations for a newbie
Hey, so I was wondering if there is a specific type of inflatable that is good for most people, because I want to try one and try play how I'd like to with balloons but am too scared xd.

Any reccomendations which would be good to try out, preferably not massively expensive since I'm not sure whether I'd like it that much.

Get a single airbed. Fairly large, not expensive; easy to inflate/deflate.

An intex whale? They’re not expensive, can take rough play and inflate/deflate easily

Definitely beach balls and airbeds for pools. Years ago, I got an Intex clear with colors air mattress for pool use and they are lots of fun to play on and use your body on!

I wonder if you are more like me. Balloons are my thing mainly as I had a massive phobia and that turned to fetish. Never, though, has inflatables done anything for me
...which is not any comment on those for which inflatables work.
I remember trying inflatables for the reason I was afraid of the pop. Under inflated balloons was much better for me, and then I slowly increased the air capacity. Buy good quality balloons and yiu fear less of a pop

Gym Ball? - I see you're in the UK..most supermarkets stock them, and in most cases they're fairly cheap

I feel it is quite a difficult question (I will push myself to the extreme of say impossible) to respond to in absolute terms. I feel each of the person here enjoy something a bit different in a slightly different way someone like to power on the object and the possibility of destroying it, and someone like them tight and on the edge of popping without actually crossing it. Some prefer the sensation of them inflating or deflating without popping. And you will see that peoples that have this fetish become like sommeliers of plastic textures. so, in general, I will suggest to you try to tell what is that mentally attracts you to inflatables, and based on that we can tell a bit more. As an example: I like a soft kind of plastic that is at least a bit stretchy I like the inflation action and most of the time I like my toys to be a bit underinflated and I like to ride them based on my preference the Intex black orca is the best toy that I will suggest, while inflatable mattress and gym-balls are too stiff for my tastes as well as the shape do not completely works for me but as you can see they drive nuts someone else so also my suggestion is to follow your dick (or else) and have fun and do not be scared of experimenting
