Here’s a childsize or a 1 man Jilong dinghy I heatstretched the other year. Just wish these came in bigger sizes like a 2 man 😍

HOT DAMN nice work sir! and agree, a bigger boat is a better (to stretch) boat!

Of course my favourite way to play with a dinghy is to pop a couple of big beachballs inside one 🤪

Heatstretch goals! I've got a 103" bestway boat I'd LOVE to get to work on ... and if it stretches anything like that Jilong it's gonna get absolutely MASSIVE!

Cool overinflation! How you did it?
I very love small boats (100-130 cm) for home playing, they are very nice for tight inflation and hard ride! But durable enoth, none pops under me yet
A bigger ones, "200"-sized, are the best toys for a river relaxing

Just used a small kettle for repeatedly pouring boiling water over it in a shower stall.

Added more air every few pours, or when it stopped expanding further under the stream of water.

I wasn’t too happy with the inner chamber to be honest. It looks skewed because it wouldn’t stretch near to the pinch valve. The bow and the inner chamber behind the bow readily stretched but the rear of the boat wouldn’t so easily. Once the vinyl started turning transparent I stopped as the next round of boiling water would have probably pin holed it at that stage.

Re: Anyone in to inflatable boats?

As I'm moving house, I've had to give away most of my larger boats. I advertised them in the local free ads and someone came and picked them up. Shortly afterwards someone messaged to ask if I still had them, as his kids had popped theirs whilst out on the river. I said 'no', but I may have one left. It was this one, that I had in a drawer and was going to let them have it. It's a used one I got on line and I'd had a really nice ride on it, a few months previously. I got it out and inflated it again and as it looked so nice, I thought I'd have one last boink on it, which was awesome

However, I enjoyed it so much, I think it is just too nice to let it go and I couldn't bear the thought of them popping it too, so I've decided I'm keeping it, now

Currently im experimenting with heat stretching a Sevylor Fish Hunter 250. It’s an old one, I only have the outer chamber so it’s good for seeing how far I can go. So far it stretches far more than I could imagine

Soon I will stretch a Fish Hunter 280 and im planning to add a few bottles of ATBC to another Fish Hunter 250, to see how stretchy and fwoompy it gets

Does this mean its under inflated??
