Default Trash Bags in the USA
Hi.

I'm currently on holiday in the usa from europe. I'm looking for large black trash bags (the shiny-er and smoother, the better). There are loads of trash bags for sale in Walmart but i don't know if they're any good. What would you guys recommend?

Thanks.

I went through some trash bags during my teens and 20s (first time I'm admitting this). Black trash bags were better because of the shine.

I'm not from the US, but i've read on other forums that Hefty Bags were the best, especially if you like stretching. Don't know if they are still being sold.

I know this because of this video:

Theses kind of generic kithen trash bags sold by Home Depot, Sams Club and Cotsco, seems to be made from a high quality plastic (better than Glad or Hefty) and the bags stretches a lot if you sit on them before they pop.

Note: The bags can sometime bust through the seams, but it is an easy fix.

Theses bags that I mentioned stretches exactly like the first two black bags in the video of the poppinbags' post, except that the bags are white instead of black.

The first two black trash bags in the video may actually be one of theses generic bags before they buy the Hefty ones.
(Notice how the "generics" bags have red drawstrings and how the plastic in the "stretched area" of the "generic" is so clear and shinny, while the Hefty ones, which have the blue drawstrings, the plastic in the "stretched area" is grayish and opaque, and the Hefty ones seems to bust a little bit early.)
