I was super thrilled that I was able to bring it back home without being seen

At the evening they took the mattress with them but left the ball behind. I collected it, let the air out and inflated it again at home in my bed thinking of the awesome looking African American guy who inflated it with me watching....
That is a hot thought. Wish I could have that same experience.

Found one of those vinyl advertising "balloons" that got loose. They are about 16 inches but thin, they can't take much.

Perfect, haha. I was hoping that was the case, and that my reports weren't falling on deaf ears...er...keyboards.

When I go abroad, I always take some toys with me.
There is a small town in Turkey, where people, usually tourists, leave their inflatable stuff for other users, they do not pop them or deflate them, they just leave them inflated. Usually there are lots of swim rings and mattresses, but sometimes you can find beachballs and even custom-made inflatables.
Two years ago I was at seaside, and collected lots of inflatable star-shaped air cushions. They were pretty big and blown to maximum. They had colored bottom and transparent upper part, so I could see condensation and water droplets near valve.
Nice...
Unfortunately, they were bad quality, so all finally had a leak when I decided to blow them more...

I stayed in a resort in Greece recently where each room has a private swimming pool, and there were always inflatables left outside in the public areas where people had checked out and housekeeping had thrown them out of the rooms. A surprising amount of them were very over-inflated. They'd normally leave them about for a day or two before they disappeared.

As my inflatables only tended to last a day or two I used to go on a collecting spree most evenings.

I just found a Target swim ring. No, I am not in the southern hemisphere, this is a late fall finding! Cleaned and fully but not overinflated. An online photo of the package says 33 inches inflated size, but I measure 34 1/4 inches, 12 3/4 inches inside diameter, 10 inches thick. I think most brands would sell that as a 45-ish inch ring, but I haven't deflated it to measure it. It's got two handles. Nothing special about the inner seam, and the material is swimming pool material, not river rafting material. It holds me when I carefully and evenly load it.
