Balloon dresses

What are your opinions on balloon dresses and costumes?
I personally love them and want to make and wear the balloon dresses myself, what do you people think?

The first thing that comes to mind is the Katy Perry ad for the Cover girl plump lashes ad...she blows up in balloon dresses throughout the whole ad and pumps up balloons until they pop the whole time! She even floated up holding balloons towards the end looking ever so excited! I wonder why!
And then there is of course the infamous episode of inspector gadget titled, "Pick Pocket School " when Brain blows up the lady spy with helium in her angel costume like a balloon and she floats up in a balloon dress...I think its super cute!!

Are you talking about dresses made up of a series of balloons put together or an inflatable suit type of thing.
I would like to see what an inflatable suit would feel like.

I have always loved seeing beautiful women wearing something like the picture shows. I think that it would be an amazingly fun time working your way through the dress, to your ‘final destination’! LOL!! I have also enjoyed watching a strip tease with the woman popping balloons as they strip.

Ha! A dress literally woven of balloons!! I was thinking more along the lines of an inflatable dress but wow! That pic of Taylor is smoking HOT!

I unfortunately don't know how to post a link to the Katy Perry ad but you could definitely find it on YouTube. I believe the ad was from around 2017. If you search for, " Katy Perry, plumpify lashes, Cover Girl " you should definitely be able to find it, no prob!

Seems very impractical considering how often you would have to remake the dress because balloons will oxidize, lose air or even pop.

Yeah, this is one of those things that seems awesome until you try to actually make and use it, and then you find it's probably not as good as you expected.

Probably best to leave it to the pros, and be grateful for whenever some photographer has the idea to make one for a shoot.

My friend and I made a balloon dress (it didn't look as good as in the picture) that I wore at his home, even if the dress didn't look good, it was so comfortable, fun and hot, that I feel like doing it over and over again.

You're kinda miasing the point.

It may be impractical but it's like any art, even if it's just for some quick fun they're absolutly lovely, nobody's gonna actually go out and do anything serious with this, it's just supposed to look good like any balloon art.
