Are pink and white the best colours for soft balloons?

I have a nice soft white balloon, right now.

I think ruby red Unique balloons? Do pink Unique balloons tend to be softer?

Clear uniques have always been reliably soft for me and hold up to a great ride.

I think it's very brand dependent. Blue, yellow and white Tuftex 17's always seem to be the softest with the most give for me but as always, individual mileage may vary.
Clear balloons from any brand are almost universally the most durable. I find black balloons have a short shelf life and generally aren't very forgiving.

I've found unique balloons to be pretty soft as well, they're smaller uninflated which usually indicates more stretch. Both red and particularly white ones get really huge when put through several cycles of stringent inflation and deflation

Someone on here recently informed me that Payaso and Unique are the same type. All the Unique-branded balloons I have are red, while some of my Payaso are white. On further though, I think it's not just the softness - but also the texture. Maybe because white reflects light, instead of absorbing it - it gives the balloon a nice cool texture that you don't really get with darker coloured balloons.

So that might be where the difference is. Two of my red Unique balloon actually are about as soft as my white Payaso balloon, but don't feel as cool to the touch. So I definitely plan on getting white Unique balloons, next.

One thing I had noticed years ago with the 16" uniques was that the "standard" colors had a softer touch than the crystal colors did. This had nothing to do with the tightness of the balloons.
