How tightly do you inflate your toys?
I'm honestly curious. For me personally I tend to bring my toys to just below fully inflation so there's no sagging whatsoever and they look great and plump, but without having the seams be super tight. It also makes them better able to withstand some minor rough play and bouncing without popping.
How about every1 else? Do u prefer them underinflated? Overinflated? Heatstretched? :3

Depends on what it's for. If I'm just at the pool/beach then it's as tight as they go (I have silenced an entire changing room once when one was, shall we say, a bit too big) - if they last a full day then it's a bonus.

Re: How tightly do you inflate your toys?
Vicci, I don't generally "play" with pool toys, but I do love them being inflated to the maximum and stretched tight. If someone is blowing up a beachball at the pool, I like to "encourage" them to make it really tight.
Sometimes, in the sun, they soften, but other times they let go!

I like them fully inflated and when I’m done I deflate and ride them down I love that part. I do have a fascination with heatstretched inflatables but only done this a couple of times. I don’t want the toy to be too weak so I can’t have some rough riding.

As long they got wrinkles, they arent inflated at all... I always like to push them past their limita... many never see any play.

Re: How tightly do you inflate your toys?
I always blow until it's really hard to get any more air in. After doing a few intentional blow to pops, I've learnt they aren't easy to pop, so why not make them super tight? I hate when people stop blowing when it's vaguely the shape its supposed to be.

If it's not leaking, it's not tight enough :P

Re: How tightly do you inflate your toys?
TO say that it's not properly inflated if it has any wrinkles or the traces of any marks on the PVC where it may have been folded or creased when stored is a good description on how tight something is.
For me, 9 out of every 10 looning sessions is either with my lifesize batman or spiderman and I air-pump these things so firm that every touch results in a ringing sound. But more particularly because I love F#cking those huge legs, the legs are very stiff.
So I definitely blow mine way past the rated inflation, but because these things are somewhat pricey, and are no longer available, I will let the air out some what when the session is over, and then will top up to maximum firmness when getting into another session.
In past experiences, leaks have happened from not so much me being rough, but from something being over inflated, and the pressure on the seams becoming too much from the contraction and expansion from the rapid temperature fluctuations in our city's climate.
