I don't think I've ever found a good supplier of balloons in Australia (with one curious exception I'll explain below). Most of my purchases have been from the US or Europe, though the postage times are getting stupid. Worst is currently from Germany: I had one order from Balloons United take more than 70 days. I decided to try Jenni-Loons a few months later and it also took more thab 70 days! But they both did arrive.

Regarding buying Chinese balloons, I found if you look for "thick latex" you will get good quality. I bought 20 "thick latex" 36" Chinese balloons and they're as good as the best Unique or Qualatex 36"s.

And in Australia? I discovered The Base Warehouse sells Sempertex! Including larger sizes! Admittedly in small packets of a few at a time. Just be mindful of prices...

Ah yep okay. I've noticed a few printed sempertex at spotlight and they also have some qualatex ones. But in small packets and expensive. Can't wait till some one starts a proper looner shop in Australia

Get yourselves together and start a balloon on-line shop, then you'll have access to all the balloons you can get your hands on. That's what BalloonAce did in the UK.

I don't know if we'd be able to sell them before I started using them though 😃

It would be like the Amazon.com story. You start up a store in a garage...the only difference is to resist the urge to use up all the goods!

I might ask qualatex Australia for a business account and see how it goes. See what prices they'll give me.

I think they'll see thru your ruse: "Hey I think this guy is trying spend 1000's of dollars with us just to get tons of balloons 'on the cheap' for his pervy hobby. " Account Request Denied"

Thanks to all those who have purchased from me before. Still have some awesome balloons available for those in the US!

Over 100 TT36s, some Q36s, some Gemar 19- and 31-inch, some Cattex 32-inch, and more than 70 miscellaneous brands of 24-inch and 36-inch.

Also have two purple 5.5 ft. cloudbusters and one 72-inch red left.

Balloons United is under new Management stocks are low and the products quality is hit or miss - some of my packages are perfect powdered well sealed etc, other arrive already backed and stuck together. Still usable but a tad bit disappointing.
