I watched the video on youtube on pre-inflation stretching and haven't had any issues with them. I use a hand pump to inflate them. I've got some 36" ones and they get massive! Not had one pop...

If you tie them at both ends, they are fairly strong.

The best way Ive used them so far, is inflate, tie both ends, lay them across my lower abs and pull the duvet over the top. Whilst watching...
