IMHO this is way worse here in the US. Here, people LOVED balloon decorations, and you always saw BIG balloons - some of them to take home, deflate, and enjoy. Also many printed balloons!

Sadly here in NYC, everything goes back to cheap thin 11" oder 12" made in China balloons. Every party is full of those, stinking of chemicals, very fragile, many popping during the festivities...
