    Is it more fun to pop helium balloons or air-filled ones?

    I’m curious to know if you fellow looners find popping helium balloons or air-filled balloons more fun. For me, I prefer popping helium filled balloons because the pieces seem to go flying everywhere!! I also find that “teasing” helium balloons is fun because you can let them float away and then grab them forcefully to bring them down and bust them.

      I have popped helium and air filled balloons; in comparison helium balloons are fun to pop on the same day they are inflated. The next day when they start to lose lift, the pop becomes a dull thump.

      Air filled balloons retain the same loud bang after the next day/few days provided its not kept in cold weather where they shrink in size.

          I always thought helium ones burst louder, at the same balloon, same conditions...is it true?

              I absolutely LOVE sitting on fresh overinflated helium balloons. They have always felt just a little bit former than air filled ones. Having a dozen or more tightly inflated 16" or larger balloons surrounding and bumping and rubbing you as you ride one of their friends... It is simply awesome.

                  Helium for sure, but does have to be fairly soon after theyre blown up or else they tend to get soft and lose helium fast.

                  The appeal for me is that helium makes them look more like decorations/natural/pretty, so watching someone pulling down a helium balloon and stomping it seems more brutal than stomping a balloon which is lying on the ground. I think my main turn on with balloons is that people go out their way to purposely destroy something that is meant to be dainty and decorative, and that this things response is an explosive bang even though its a soft colourful orb.

                      Definitely helium balloons ! Popping helium balloons turns me on WAY more than normal air filled ones ! My favorite ways are sit to pop , pin/cigarette , and untie/blow to pop .
