I found your profile on DeviantArt and your story "spoiled surprise" (wonderful story!) fits surprisingly well into the background of my current story. Do you mind if I reference it in a footnote? It could explain the source of the magical balloons and why they stop working if their secret is revealed (a magical being who requires the magic created from sexual pleasure created these balloons and doesn't want to be exposed, so she enchanted the balloons so they wouldn't work for someone who violated her privacy).

I'd appreciate your consent to the reference, otherwise, I'll leave it out.
