I overinflated one of my Unique16 balloons close to 20". Honestly I didn´t expect it to burst already... but after about 10 minutes it went off with a bang

I think I have to practice more because this is great fun
I´ll attach the last picture of this beauty and hope you like it!

      Re: Spontaneous popping

Nice pictures! This is one of my favorite things... I love to blow up a balloon or two (usually just a normal 12 inch) to the max and leave it in my room. Just knowing it could burst at any moment makes me happy. Sometimes I leave them where they will get hit by some sunlight to increase my chances...

A long time ago I rubbed Vaseline all over a 24 inch tuftex that was blown up super huge and super tight, I left it in my room and shut the door and in just a few minutes BOOM ,
        The bigger the better

Hot weather degrades latex quicker so a mega tight will burst quickly in a hot room or in the sun so try that also grass for some reason hates balloons...
Had many a pop on holiday and with our now lovely british summers !

Same, I hate seeing my pretty balloons go bang. But I understand that is life.

I find Cattex ducks are the worst for spontaneous popping. And if I deflate them for future use they're almost impossible to reinflate properly. Don't understand how a balloon that can survive my 100kg+ riding it fairly hard (duck upright with beak over the back of sofa, me bouncing on it's back) will just spontaneously pop within an hour. The one ride is well worth the price of the balloon, but they're definitely a "one fuck wonder"!

I like to take 14 inch metallic balloons and inflate them twice to the maximum so that they get bigger... Then I like to tie them and put in a small room and give them little kicks and hits so that they bounce against the walls. .. the corners are dangerous and tend to explode into a thousand pieces spontaneously

                    Re: Spontaneous popping

I like to inflate my balloons especially punch balls to the max or as tight as possible. I like playing with them with the thrill they may pop at any moment. Like I've had punch balls burst on me while punching them. The "good ones" will last several weeks letting some of the air out to relieve the pressure during inactivity before taking them back up to the max for play. Over time repeating this process the balloon eventually succumbs to the stretching and breaks.

Right now one just went BANG right next to me as I was sitting at my desk. That was a fun surprise!

We've only had one spontaneous pop. I suppose we don't usually leave balloons out long enough for that. The thought makes me very nervous.

I had an unexpected pop this morning at 5am! 😂 Luckily my wife slept through it but it was enough for me to wake up and register what had happened before drifting off blissfully to sleep again. 🎈 A so-called 12" balloon from China. Easily a 14"...well for a few days anyway.
