Being a looner living with roommates or parents

People who live with others, how do you get around being into balloons when you live with others?

Do you wait until they are not around to play, or do you not loon because of it? Its very interesting to find out what people do when others are living in the same place.

My dad knows I like balloons more or less, and I have them up often no problem, even bigger sized ones. Though if I leave them lying around, he always busts them, at least if they get in his way. So I leave them around often for him to bust so I can watch him.

Growing up, it was more or less the same. He would always get me balloons from places that give them out, would blow up tons of balloons for my birthday and lots for any other occasion.

I still ask him to blow them up for me as he always gets them really tight and huge. And I sometimes ask him to bust balloons for me while I watch and he would always sit and bounce on them until they exploded.

At first I just told him I really liked balloons, but then told him it was a fetish, and he said he would accept it on the condition that he would be in control of the balloons, when they get blown up, when they get busted, and what I did with them. And that every balloon would have to be busted and destroyed by the end of the day.

    Still working decently well today.

Metro. So you get sexually excited by your dad doing this? Does he know you are turned on by him doing it?

It's easier being a non-popper. I just wait until it's late and I'm in my room by myself. Then I just need to be quiet with the blowing and squeaking.

Now, when I was in college sharing a room with a roommate... yeah, I didn't have much chance. Would have to wait until he was gone, and I'd have to be sure he wouldn't be returning in time.

              Being. Non popper definitely helps.

When I have lived with others, it’s not been that difficult to hide stuff.
I could even get away with 36” and larger being left inflated in my room. Though usually inside a closet or wardrobe.

Having non suspicious and also respectful room mates helps with privacy.
Had the rare accidental pop, never had any questions.

My balloon play is limited to when no one else is home. Sometimes I will have a couple blown up in bed with the wife when we are having sex, but they never get used (wife has no desire to interact with them). The rest of the time I blow them up at work after everyone has gone home for the day. Which happens once every couple months. The other night I blew up 2 - Q24's tight with a little bit of neck. I straddled and bounced on them for a while. Neither of them survived.

What do you do for work that allows such big balloons?

Plenty of room at my desk. I normally sit on a 65cm exercise ball (the 75cm was too tall) so a 24" balloon doesn't really take up much more room. There are also a couple of large storage rooms that I used to be able to have balloon fun in.

I don't want to get too detailed with what I do because someone could read my posts and figure out who I am and where I work. Most generic description would be that I work at a venue in the live events industry. I've acquired/popped/played with many balloons over the years that have been left behind after events. I always look at it as saving the housekeeping staff some time by doing their job for them.

I was in my twenties when I moved back home to live with my mother. There I could not display or openly play with my balloons. I would wait for opportune times when she would be gone for a while to have my balloon play sessions. One time she unexpectedly returned but I had locked the screen door so she couldn't come in on me. I hurriedly put away my balloons and then let her in. Whew! Usually I would just grab my balloon stuff and go to a motel for a three hour session.

Moving out from home at the earliest time (18) this was the reason I did it that early... wanted to be able to do that at any time without being disturbed...

I am still living with my parents so me being a looner is my biggest secret. Big advantige is that I'm non-popper so It's quiet and my favourite inflatables are gymballs. Gymballs are the Best Choice if you want to keep low profile from my point of view. Because you can always say that you're having it for workout or you using it instead of chair. So for parents it wouldn't be sus and Part about what are doing with it when nobody is home or in the middle of the night is just for you and your gymball. Only problem in my case, because I love looning with gymballs, I have few of them in diffrent sizes from 55 cm up to 100cm, bigger is better right but when you have small room like me having inflatable that big inflate in room is bringing question about how you could fit in room when you have giant balloon in the middle of it. But to also tell disadventiges you have to always hide the evidence about what you've been doing. And one time I wasn't so lucky. One night I put my 85 cm FITFORCE gymball on my bed and at First I was just sitting, or laying on it but then I decided to ride the gymball. When I rided my gymball part of my bed cracked, and it made I guess the loudest Sound you could hear in night. I got terrified, because my parents are sleeping right in next room to mine. So just vision of me getting seen by my parents while I am riding a Gymball naked, in the middle of the night was like horror to me. But fortunately nobody was awaken by the noise.

Lucky for me, the two people who live with me are accepting of me looning. I do have a special room I go to when I want to play with my loons.

If you can spare the explanation, I'm really interested to hear how this final arrangement all transpired. How did your housemates find out? What relationship do you have with them? Do they have their own "special rooms" for their own... specific interests, or do you get that privilege/obligation because of the potential noise associated with balloon activity? For that matter, do you consider it the privilege of having your own balloon space, or is it an inconvenience that you're obligated to endure to keep the peace with your roommates?

Sorry to pry, but it really piqued my curiosity. You describe the arrangement in such a straightforward way that it makes perfect sense, but as a "closeted" looner to everybody I know, I just can't imagine the string of logistics that it took to get there! I mean this all in a very complimentary sense: I'm impressed that you were able to come out to them, and envious that this seems to be a somewhat nonchalant part of your living arrangements.
