Eiiiiither way, my interest in balloons started quite a while back. When I was a baby, I was scared of them (like a lot of other people). Then, when I was about 9 years old, we were given a task in school to blow up balloons. What caught my eye was a girl who was a friend and mine and my crush at the time. She was blowing up a yellow balloon and her lungs were... really appreciative. The neck then started inflating. Her friends around her kept telling her to stop then told the teacher who threatened to give her a detention, but despite these attempts to make her stop, she blew, and blew, and blew...
KA-BOOOOOOOM!!!
The balloon exploded in her face... she was shocked for a second then burst into pitiless laughter. It was real attractive to see her be so fearless with that balloon, so determined to destroy it... It felt good. Like literally, I'm turned on by reminding myself of this moment...
At the end of the lesson, the teacher allowed the rest of us to pop our balloons. Since the girl had obviously already busted hers, she came over to me (knowing how quiet I was) and offered to destroy mine for me, which I said 'yes' to.
With a smile, she took my (also yellow) balloon, placed it on a chair and sat down on it. VWOOM! The neck bulged out. The girl began to bounce up and down as the neck went further, further, further... KA-BOOOOM!! She and I burst into laughter and hugged each other. I guess this is where it began, really...
A couple of years later, I saw some balloons in a drawer at home... without hesitation, I took them and began blowing them up.
Eventually in the middle of the evening, my interest had completely gone off the balloon even though I was still deflating and blowing it up, until... BANG!
My first blow to pop... I wasn't even scared, and this was a really enjoyable moment for me. I was started to notice that I'd developed something more than a little interest in balloons, but I wasn't quite there yet.
A couple of years ago, I met up with that same girl I mentioned before... I happened to have some balloons on me. This could've been my one and only chance. Playing with the deflated balloon, I waited for a response or reaction... suddenly, I heard a joyful "Oh, balloons!". She knew they were balloons and she was pretty happy about it. She offered to blow one up... What do you think I said? Of course! I watched her fill the balloon up within 3 breaths... still had such great lungs. Tying it off, we played with the balloon for a while, bouncing it about and such. When it was time to part, she looked at the balloon and said "Well... I guess this has gotta go now, huh?" With a mischievous grin, she lifted up her foot and STAMPED on the balloon, sending shreds everywhere in an awesome explosion. That felt so good...
Wanting to be as fearless as her, when I got home I B2P'd two large balloons and learned how to tie them the next day, opening up the possibility of sitting and stamping.
And now, here I am. Hopefully, we can all get along. :3
