I would say any color is great with the exception of black, which I for some reason don't find appropriate as a balloon color.

Maybe I like blue and red a little better, maybe because this was the color of most balloons that were given away in my childhood - blue for boys and red for girls.
Crystal colors appeal more to me as the solid ones, the crystal get very pretty and take a lot of blowing, before they explode, especially considering how fragile they look.

But as I wrote initially: Any color will do, as long as they end up with a bang, when I blow them up too far (which I have a habit of doing)

Actually my favorite balloon color varies by the day and my mood, but I'd have to say my top three are blue, pink and red.

Pink and light blue for me. Pastel colors are great. Not a fan of glossy balloons.
