Default First home made balloon
First home made balloon. Most have stuck together or popped very quickly. They are turning out very soft so far, not very durable. This is the first that was able to neck. It's roughly equivalent to a 17" long neck. I should be able to scale up to about 36" but that's it for home made... it's a pretty bad yield when it takes 2 months per balloon lol (edit, one balloon took about 30 minutes, not 2 months. it just took a lot of tries )

Interesting! I wouldn't have expected it to be a two month process. Looks like you're onto something.

A lot of research and challenges when doing this on the small scale, working in a kitchen and trying not to burn the house down or cause chemical burns lol

When I get a little further I'll post a how to guide and see if anyone else can offer suggestions.

No color yet. Latex is expensive. To do more than one color means I would have to store and use a lot of it. Also some of my mistakes would probably be messy with color. Clear latex cleans up easily
