Shredding latex gloves

Sometimes when blowing to pop latex gloves (or even sit popping) they will shred into lots of pieces. Usually it's only a bit but today this happened. Keep finding little pieces of it all over my room.

There was a clip by Clubsteffi where they had gauntlet style gloves really long latex gloves. The BOOM! of the explosion from those being pumped to pop was so loud that the girl was genuinely surprised. I bet it was as loud as a TT17" being pumped to pop.
