I never thought of that haha. After popping my ears are always RINGING! I will have to wear ear plugs next time! It will make it less startling though.

I always keep ear plugs around. I always offer models the option to wear earplugs when we're doing popping and (especially) B2P.

The question i have: are you less likely to enjoy a B2P video if the model(s) are obviously wearing earplugs? I've discussed this with friends before but there never seems to be a consensus answer.

I don't mind if they wear earplugs. It's a lot better than seeing them being scared to death of the balloon popping, cause that's a big turn off for me.

I actually never wear earplugs.
When I am on my own I don't use them because I don't like these things in my ear.
When I am with other people I want to be able to hear them (and I expect them to be able to hear me), so in that case no earplugs!

At the moment I use my expensive gaming headset when I plan on popping. Probably not quite as quite as good as ear plugs but hey at least I can watch youtube or whatever.

I wear headphones in addition to ear plugs. My current headphones don't block much noise, so earplugs are still needed. Have anyone tried popping balloons while wearing noise cancelling headphones?

My headset cancels out some sound and it works just fine for my needs.

I wonder what's the most and least effective suppression for the bang: earplugs, in-ear earphones with loud music such as heavy metal or industrial hearing protection ear muffs (like these). Have you tried to compare these solutions?

Something like these, plus ear plugs, and you shouldn't hear a thing except muffled loud music
