Mostly bass these days. A little guitar. My main bass is a lefty 1965 Fender Precision. It's not pre-CBS and it's not post-CBS. It's "CBS"! The neck stamp date is January 5, 1965, the very day that the CBS buyout was announced. Backup is a 1981 Steinberger L2 (from the Brooklyn factory), also lefty.
Depending on my mood and my tolerance for noise, I play through a 1965 Ampeg B-15 fliptop combo or a modern Ashdown CTM100 head and 2x12 cab. I play the Steinberger through a solid-state Fender Bassman... it doesn't sound good with tube amps.
