Re: Pink inflatable chair/sofa
The original ones were made by a company called Bubble Furiture in the 90’s. I’ve never found a twin chair like the one in your picture, but I did managed to buy two single chairs (one red, one green) off EBay a year or two ago. They’re a nice size though, your not sitting down on the floor (like most other chairs) and they’ve quite a deep cushion so you can sit back or throw your legs over the side n lay back without falling off them.Comment

Re: Pink inflatable chair/sofa
I've got a few of those blue chairs (and a couple of clear ones) - same package - they're more of a turquoise colour and quite squeaky rather than the dark blue harder material of ones made in later years.
Be careful though, they do split quite easily around the inner seam of the "arm".
I must have missed that auction, otherwise I'd have had itVicci xComment

Re: Pink inflatable chair/sofa
I’d really love one of those 60’s era genuine Quasar inflatable chairs. Sadly they now go for rediculously high prices.... last one I saw near Camden Market the seller wanted £1,400 for a gloss red one.Comment

Re: Pink inflatable chair/sofa
I rather miss those transparent blue or pink armchairs, I remember when Argos here in the UK used to sell them at less than a tenner. I had a succession of them as comfy seats in my room at Uni, at that price it didn't matter when housemates got drunk and burst them
I think they still had them in the local branches of Argos as recently as about 2010, though the prices had crept up a bit... the last few at Homebase (who are owned by Argos I think) were about £25 each, which is more like what they cost in the 1990's when they were at the height of popularity. I've still got my last chair from Uni, had it some 11 years now, it has a couple of small leaks but otherwise not too bad. Hoping they come back into fashion with the whole kitsch 90's thing.Comment

Re: Pink inflatable chair/sofa
Yeah I have thought of that idea and luckily as a business owner it could go through the books, there is a few logos kicking about that would sell them easily the 1 that springs to mind would be the LAMP LOVERS logo
What do people think ?Nothing better than watching a naked lady on an inflatable enjoying herselfComment

Loonerversity - are you still looking for a pink chair?
I've just found one that I've had for ages (didn't think I had any pink ones left). Just need to blow it up and check it, but then I'm going to stick it on ebay - I'll send you a link if you're interested?Vicci xComment
