Exclamation Questions on Privacy
Privacy is quite an issue for me. You probably feel quite similar about your fetish. No one wants to shout their thoughts and feelings about balloons from the rooftops, do you?

This is still quite a sad situation the world hopefully will overcome at some point!

What actions do you take to protect your privacy? Do you just lock the door, close the curtain? What about the loud noises when doing (accidental) B2Ps?
And how about your digital footprints? How do you hide? Change IP Addresses often, Proxies, TOR?

And how do you think about the need for privacy as a looner? Do you consider privacy an issue to take seriously? Do you think fetishists - looner in particular - will ever have the chance to live their life as unconcerned as lesbians or gays do today in the US or in parts of Europe?

I always play on my own and have never been caught. (Although there have been some close shaves) I keep my stash in a locked laptop case with the key kept inside a model of a Saturn V rocket (no one would touch it in case it broke). As for the digital stuff, I keep a separate web browser on my iPhone (which is hidden) I don't need to do any more because no one in my family has the knowledge to know how to track what I do and they wouldn't do that anyway.

I only bring my balloons out if I know I'm going to be alone for a while and hide them somewhere nobody ever bothers to look. All my clips and pictures are hidden somewhere on my computer and I always use the browser's privacy mode when browsing for porn or balloon related stuff.

Keeping a small stash, constantly changing hiding strategies, being the "IT guy" in the family, and being fortunate enough to have a family that doesn't pry into my personal life.

I don't see the need to use a private browser when visiting this website. I do use a different browser when watching videos on youtube, just because I don't want looner suggestions in my "normal" youtube channel.
Changing IP adresses or using TOR is way too much work for me. If the government (or your ISP) want to track you, they can do so. So I also don't think it would help anything.

I keep my balloons in a box under my bed. So they are quickly within reach. No need to completely hide them.

With me I have been caught once by a family member but they forgot about it like it never happened. For me I just go on private mode when I do my looning research, and I keep my collection hidden in my closet which no one goes through. But i do try to be open about the fetish. I did manage to get my gf into it and has a ton of fun with it. Just don't be scared to be open

TOR and dmcrypt for me, too. A long time ago I started with hidden folders, but when you get to know about all the privacy options you have, your gonna develop a realy privacy fetish xD

Unfortunately, not all forums are so uncomplicated about TOR users. Sneaker Groups forum e.g. doesn't allow TOR at all and bans those connecting from the wrong country. Some also want you to have an e-mail address by some established company and some (like Fetlife) even want your phone number. My fetish will never get that far that I give my data to those sites.

In that spirit: Thank you very very much, Vicci, for granting us this anonymous and private spot in the big world of tracking and deanonymization!!!

I don't see the point in so much security for a site like this. It's not like it's illegal. In fact if someone discovers all your security methods, it looks like you're doing something illegal and people will want to take a closer look.
