    Rapairing air mattress...got question

I know to use intex patches on the punctures, but what would I use to fix the seals on a leaky valve. Most of the current leaking is now currently coming out the leaky valve.

As I told my cousin In total it had five leaks, and the leaky valve.

If you can get a vinyl pool repair kit, that's the best way to patch leaks. As for the valve, I'd say stretch out the plug part of it by inserting a very dull pencil into the the hole inside the plug

That'd be a great idea if (1) there wasn't a split in the valve seam and (2) if the valve wasn't so tiny, it is so small it won't even properly take my electric pump.

Update: upon further inspection I discovered little to no damage to the valve. Instead I found another leak in that area of the mattress. I have been using bandaids as temporary patching. She is still leaking air, but much slower. I will update more when I do proper patching.

Ah, my apologies. I thought it was just a loose plug. Good luck!!

Well I found another air mattress, this one was a knock off of the intex double valve with silver bottom. Unfortunately the cup holder area had completely popped. The pillow was salvageable but needs one patch. As far as the 94 Aqua Leisure mattress I am still waiting for actual patches for it too. Although she seems to be holding air a bit longer at the moment. I will be glad when she holds air and is firm again. So far I've inflated it to semi firm, but it only holds like that for a short time.

If you give up on trying to repair it you should post it on eBay for sale. You might get more money for it as it is than if it were new.

Can you post a picture of it on here?

Leaky, soft, and impossible to repair, those are the absolute best!!!
