@Harley No problem! Looking forward to read how you'll use this idea.

@Infl8 Like Harley already said it really depends on what you think you can handle. Some people don't mind blowing up PP toys by mouth others only do it with the standard pool toys like dolphins or whales. Some people even inflate the big single chamber toys from Inflatable World by mouth like their giant green dragon.

Oh, wow! Thanks, chillinhaze. I'd like to try my luck with blowing up bigger inflatables by mouth. How are the whales and the orcas?

Which orcas and whales do you mean?

Sorry, I meant in terms of size. How are the whales and orcas in terms of size? Are they easy or hard to inflate by mouth?

Depends on which orcas and whales we are talking about, really. The standard size is probably the orca made by Intex, then there are some that are a bit smaller or bigger than those. And if you want something huge you can look at Inflatable World's 3 meter orcas or even the 5 meter ones.

Oh, cool. I'm thinking about the standard size Intex orca. Is that one easy or hard to inflate by mouth?

                Should be fairly easy.

Yes, if you're not used to big inflatables that could be a great start - you might be surprised how quick they are to fill.
Just remember - and this is an easy mistake for beginners which I hope no one with a serious interest makes - that many inflatables have a tab in the valve that needs to be pushed away. Some pinch the valve with their fingers, I myself think it easier to compress with my teeth and there might be other ways too.

As I said, beginner stuff - but I've seen far too many videos with struggling models who think a toy is just too tough to blow up simply because they've missed that part! :P

Ah, yeah. This little detail slips by a lot of people who ain't used to inflatables. It is amusing to see a model struggle because of that though.

Unfortunately it shows they never really had any contact with this kink and are just doing it for the money.

Thanks, Harley and Chillinhaze. Oh..a tab in the valve? When I inflate an inflatable, I tend to pinch the valve with my fingers. Also, any big or bigger inflatables y'all recommend after the standard size Intex orca? I'd like to try out inflating big or bigger ones by mouth.

                        Re: Huge inflatables (and balloons)

What Harley meant with tap is the safety flap inside the valve which is there to avoid sudden and fast deflation should the valve open unwanted.

For bigger toys I could only hint at the Inflatable World ones. I'm not very versed in what the normal companies that sell inflatables have in their repertoire. More into big inflatables myself.

Ah, ok. Thanks, Chillinhaze. Inflatable World toys? Thanks for telling me about those. How big can those get, Chillinhaze? I may get one of those soon.

They can get pretty big. Just look at their website

The bigger ones are in the Decoration Items tab or the New Products tab.

Thanks for the link, ChillinHaze. Those bigger inflatables are nice. I'm not sure which one of those to get first. I like the whale inflatables on there.
