That's a shame about bargainballoons, that's pretty much the only place I buy balloons since shipping from anywhere else kills me (on of few things I hate about living in canada) and I live just 45 mins from their Canadian warehouse.

I've had no issues with them. I just wish 24 Qualetex weren't going out. Isn't there a petition going still or was that a bust (no pun intended)?

I thought it was only the crystal tones that were being discontinued?

I'm sure Maggy from Balloons United said on the official Balloons United page on Facebook that Qualatex would stop making the Q24 full stop.

After all, they've stopped making their "The Looner" print Q24, with all of them sold out as of right now, and the only Q24's they have on their website are crystal black and red.

I hope this changes in the future. I bought a couple 36 Qualetex for the first time and couldn't get them to neck. Do the 30s neck at all? The 24s were the perfect size and the necks were awesome! Tuftex are generally an alright brand. Maybe I'll have to switch over to Catax brand as they seem to have the neck I'm looking for.

I'm also still holding out hope for the return of the overinflated cti 22" punch balloons. Those suckers were massive and took a TON of abuse before BANG! :P

Regular 36" balloons generally don't neck very well. I've only tried QTex and Cattex, but haven't dared to even try to neck either of them.

On the one German site it looks like the Cattex neck but I forget if that's 24 or 36

Cattex have made some 32" and 35" "long neck" balloons, which I believe is made with looners in mind. They are more pear shaped than most 30"+ balloons and I think part of their neck is made to inflate easier than normal.

Has anybody tried We Heart Balloons yet? They seem like a good shop for Cattex GLs or shapes, and they also have some (now discontinued) Qualatex 24s in stock

Does anyone in the US have a good source for Unique 16s? My local party store has all sorts of Qualatex. And the big discount stores here only have Unique 12s. No luck on ebay or Amazon either. Id rather not have to order overseas if possible.

Kaboom Balloons normally has them at a good price. If they're out of stock on the website, send them an email. They'll respond in a few days with a timeline of when they'll be in stock. This is how I normally do my mass balloon purchases.

Yeah Kaboom where I Get my mass U16's too. I did the math and Nordic Looners is comparable in price but you have to order your loons as singles. If I place an order with them I do it 100 at a time. Kaboom has considerably downsized, but in case anyone was ever interested, it's important to keep them in business. They BY FAR have the best price for mass TT17's. We're talking $10 dollar differences in bulk.
