I have NEVER done a single blow to pop in my life. I can pop using other ways, with little fear, but I am too scared to do one. I need your help, how do I do it? How do you all do it?

Re: Help me lose my fear of doing a B2P!
I don't have a handpump. When inflating balloons, I also blow by mouth, but don't over-inflate. Once it gets just a little past it's rated size, i tie it off.You never know when it's gonna pop!Comment

Sure, I will try a 12", blindfold myself, and listen to loud music on my earphones. Hope I succeed! Maybe I can eventually do a 16" B2P without any protection! You never know when it's gonna pop!Comment

If the noise bothers you, then definitely use earplugs. You can get some cheap ones from pretty much any hardware store. If you're wearing earplugs, the pop won't sound much louder than if you popped the balloon in a different way.
When I did my first few b2ps, I made a mask out of cardboard, with only a hole for my mouth. I also wore gloves to protect my hands, though that might make it more difficult to hold on to the balloon. It might also help to sit or lay down in your bed with the duvet pulled up to your shoulders. This will make the shockwave from the pop less noticeable.Comment

Re: Help me lose my fear of doing a B2P!
The easiest for me has been 16" Uniques. They are thinner than the other brands with that size and are easy to blow all the way. I've found that smaller balloons get really difficult to keep blowing past a certain point and they're often really tight, resulting in a "sharper" bang. The downside with a 16" balloon is that there's a lot more time to chicken out.
I know that the actual bang doesn't scare me, as long as I'm wearing earplugs and safety glasses, but the anxiety still makes me chicken out most of the timeComment

Ear plugs works great, i did with them and if you dont sure about buu some industriel headphone you can use it at the same time. What did it for me was do it in a car that will lower the bang aswel. But its hard to clean after a pew b2p hahaComment
