Re: Best First Balloon To Blow To Pop

I agree with starting with Uniques, it's what I did. However, I would probably recommend a 14" or 16". Somehow I find it easier with bigger balloons, as the pop is usually isn't as sharp as with...

Re: Biggest mouth inflation?

QTex/Tuf-Tex 24" for me. By the time I got my hands on anything bigger, I had a pump :)

Re: How far will you travel for loonz and a question

I have to travel somewhere between 15 and 30km to get to stores that sells decent balloons.

I'd say it would take you around 20 minutes to walk 1.3 miles. Less if you're jogging.

Re: First step to pop a balloon

Earplugs helped me a lot when I first started trying to pop balloons. I would recommend starting by using something sharp to try to pop some slightly underinflated balloons (I taped a needle to a...

Re: Tuf-Tex 17" size question

Those labelled 36cm are 14" Tuf-Tex I would imagine. Just go with the 43cm (17") and you should be fine.

Re: Story about fear

The series I've been writing is a bit like that, but with the roles reversed: http://www.blowtopop.net/showthread.php?t=19415

If I can get the motivation to start writing again, I might play...

Re: The best balloon fon non-poppers

Is this the site you're thinking of? http://balloons.wikia.com/wiki/Balloons_Wiki
I also did an attempt on making a thread for balloon reviews at some point:...

Re: need a word...

Yes, a regular name would make the most sense in this case.

Thanks to you, I no longer consider "Susie" an innocent name around balloons :p

Re: New Looner Game

I think it would be easier if you don't have to do them in order. With some bad luck, it could take a very long time to finish the game. I believe it will take long enough to just get all six...

Re: The best balloon fon non-poppers

The ones I've seen in videos looks like 16" Uniques, which isn't a brand I'd recommend for non-poppers (though the quality feels better now than a few years ago).
Qualatex is overall the most...

Re: ride to pop, some concerns and questions

I'm sorry, but what do you need a tent for? Sitpopping doesn't usually create that much of a mess. Not anywhere near as much as a blow to pop anyway.

Re: ride to pop, some concerns and questions

A Q24 should in theory be able to take more weight. Inflate it to 20-22" and place it on your bed or a mattress and enjoy the ride :)

Re: How diverse is your stash?

I have a lot of different brands and size in my collection, as I've tried out a lot of different balloons over the years.
Brands include Qualatex, Belbal, Tuf-Tex, Cattex, BSA, Unique and Sempertex....

Re: Q16 vs Q24?

Not much to add really. Q16 are smaller and is difficult to neck. The Q24 is well known for its amazing neck. They're both really durable and I haven't yet had any issues with them ageing.

The...

Re: New Qualatex Metallics

From a looner standpoint I don't have much interest in these, for the same reasons as many have already mentioned. From a decoration standpoint however, they look amazing!

Re: I Finally Did It! First B2P

This is very much the case for me. I had a period for about a month, after I had just done my second b2p with a U16, where I was able to do it quite easily. Then I went a few weeks without having the...

Re: I can't wait for New Years Eve!

Lots of balloons on new years eve is an American thing I think. At least we don't have any balloons over here in Norway that I'm aware of. Just lots of fireworks instead.
Either way I'm not a fan....

I get what you mean. It comes down to whether you want to experience a long build up before the bang, or a steady supply of excitement throughout the session. I usually have more fun with the latter,...

Re: Help me lose my fear of doing a B2P!

Just a quick tip for this point. What usually stops me at this point is the amount of time it takes to start blowing up a new balloon. If you have one blown up to rated size already, you might be...

Re: Most peices after the bang

Usually yes. The more stretched out it gets, the smaller pieces you get when it pops. I don't have much experience with them, but I've heard that metallic balloons can burst into even tinier pieces...
